Dr. Gant’s Story
Dr. Gant’s youngest daughter had struggled with learning her entire academic career. When Dr. Gant first learned about cognitive skill testing and training, a lightbulb went off in his head.
His daughter was then a senior in high school getting good grades, but she worked much too hard to maintain her grades. She also had not scored as high on the ACT as needed to get into the college of her choice.
Dr. Gant wondered if his daughter had any weak cognitive skills that might explain why his daughter struggled with academics. He had his daughter tested and indeed she did have some weak skills. This finally explained why his daughter struggled with academics even though she had worked very hard to overcome this challenge.
His daughter then went through training which strengthened her skills. She retook the ACT and raised her score enough to get into the college of her choice.
